Composting at Newbourne Farm began in 1995 when Rod and Yvonne Hill, while still farming on-site, started recycling green waste from a handful of local landscapers and tree surgeons.
Their commitment to producing high-quality compost, combined with clean and efficient processes, quickly gained recognition. By 2003, Newbourne Farm Composting had expanded to process garden waste from across Hampshire, Dorset, and Wiltshire, supplying premium compost and soils to local landscapers and farmers.
Today, the farm processes up to 25,000 tons of organic material annually, continuing its mission of sustainable waste management and soil enrichment.
